Gordon Hayward put an end to Boston fans` hopes to see him again on the pitch this season. The winger admitted to miss the entire campaign and at the same time thanked all of the Celtics organization for their treatment after the injury.
The Celtics know that I will not go back to the pitch at all this season and try to have everything I need to keep feeling as if I am part of the team. Everyone is extremely concerned, Hayward writes in his official Facebook profile.
The player added that he had received an email from Barack Obama after a heavy injury, and also thanked all of his former Utah Jazz team.
